It is important to check your applicant’s driving records when you are planning to allow your sitter, day care provider or nanny to transport your children. It is important to know that your children are in trustworthy hands at all times and especially behind the wheel. Keep in mind that although you do not plan to have your sitter, day care provider or nanny drive for you there may be an emergency situation that will warrant this. 

Also, it would be prudent to check the driving records for all applicants even when you won’t have them drive in order to complete a full background check that may disclose crimes such as drunk driving, drug use or driving while under the influence etc.
